Concrete sleeper retaining wall holding back a sloping Logan backyard

Logan · walls up to 1m · Same day quotes

Retaining walls in Logan.

Logan is a hilly patch, and a lot of fences here only sit straight once the ground behind them is held back properly. We build concrete sleeper and timber retaining walls up to 1m high — roughly 5 sleepers — and put the new fence straight on top.

Own crew, no subcontractors

We build up to 1m high

Our walls go up to 1m, approximately 5 sleepers. That covers the vast majority of residential level changes around Logan: a fall across the backyard, a cut for a shed or pool pad, a step down to a driveway, or levelling a boundary before a new fence goes on. If your site genuinely needs more height than that, we'll tell you straight up so you can get an engineered solution instead of a wall that isn't right for the job.

Concrete sleeper or timber

Concrete sleepers set into galvanised or powder-coated steel posts are the go-to — no rot, no termites, and a clean modern face that suits the newer Park Ridge and Yarrabilba builds. Treated timber sleepers cost less and suit a softer garden look on established blocks. Either way the wall gets real drainage: agi line, gravel backfill, and somewhere for the water to actually go, which matters in a Logan summer storm.

Wall and fence in one visit

Most of our Logan wall jobs finish with a Colorbond or timber fence sitting straight on top. Doing both together means one crew, one price and one visit — and the fence line ends up level instead of chasing the old ground.

Great price. Thank you to Eddy and the team. From the first call to the end of the job was a very pleasant and professional experience. The call to response was fast and we were happy with his quote. He gave us a few different fence options, explained what needed to be done (work flow, time etc) and our old broken timber fence is now replaced with a strong Colorbond fence. Most importantly they were respectful, efficient and left our property clean and spotless. It's not often you come across contractors like them. Highly recommend.

Retaining wall questions

How much does a new fence cost?

Pricing varies depending on fence length and height, ground conditions and access, and any site-specific requirements. We provide tailored pricing once your project has been properly assessed, and you get it in writing.

How soon can you start?

Start times vary depending on current workload, materials and project requirements. Availability is confirmed after your project has been reviewed — and we'll give you a real date, not a vague window.

Do you reuse existing panels or materials?

No. We install new materials to ensure consistency, durability and finish quality across the entire fence. Reusing existing panels often leads to a mismatched appearance and reduced lifespan.

Do you handle full fence replacements?

Yes. We regularly remove and replace existing fences as part of a complete installation, including disposal of the old fence, so you get a clean, consistent result across the full boundary.

Do you deal directly with neighbours?

The project is managed directly with you. If the fence is shared, coordination with neighbours is handled by you before we proceed — we'll give you a clear written quote you can hand straight to them.

Do you need access to the site?

Yes. Clear access along the fence line is required for installation. Access limitations may affect feasibility or require adjustments to the scope.

Will installation affect my lawn or garden?

Fence installation involves digging post holes, so some disturbance along the fence line is expected. We take care during works and aim to leave the site tidy on completion.

Do I need council approval for a fence?

In most cases standard boundary fencing does not require approval. Requirements can vary depending on location and height, and pool fencing must meet Queensland pool safety laws. We can advise based on your property.

What should I expect in the final finish?

We aim for a clean, consistent installation across the full fence line. As with all construction work, minor handling marks can occur during installation — these are addressed as part of our quality process.

Where do you source your materials?

We source COLORBOND® steel, timber and fencing components from trusted Australian suppliers, which means genuine materials, consistent quality and reliable availability on every project.

Are you insured?

Yes — we carry $10 million public liability insurance and we work under ABN 91 937 439 041. Every job is done by our own crew, not subcontracted out.

Which areas do you cover?

Logan, Brisbane, the Gold Coast and surrounding areas — including Springwood, Beenleigh, Shailer Park, Loganholme, the Redlands, Coomera and Ormeau. If you're just outside, call or text and we'll let you know.
